011001000110010101110010
I am assuming you are using normal tyre levels, find some metal ones or old spoon handles.Lean like hell.Or, fairy liquid and water on the rim to lubricate it off. Swize
Use some tyre levers lube them up with something like fair liquid so the will slide easyer. So wack 1 lever in clip it to a spoke and then wack another in. It will come off just give it some. SamPS : Don't get the lube on your rim and if you don't have levers use the handle of spoons !Edit : To slow:( Edited April 12, 2006 by Swize
Robwalker
A big screw driver, push it down the side of the sidewall until you can feel it at the end of the tyre, then slowly lift it and at the same time get anther big screwdriver and do the same next to it. Also sometimes if you are having trouble with one side try the other, don't know why but it sometimes works.Good Luck Rob

JT!
Because thats dumb. And it's ever harder to cut off than removing it normally.
Concussion
And it's ever harder to cut off than removing it normally.Tell me about it.....once cut an old tyre off with cable cutters.......untill someone told me about this method.Lay the wheel on the floor, pinch the tyre with your fingers to get it to sit in the middle of the rim (keep from expanding by standing on tyre in two places). You should find there is enough slack to pull the tyre of with your fingers.I didn't think it would work, but a bit of patience...came off a treat!I know you sorted it...just don't fancy the spoon/screwdriver method myself. cookie456_the2nd
Use a fork, then you can hook it into your spokes, just like a tyre lever. You Spoon.
