High Rise Stem

hi peeps, right i have an 05 zoo pitbull 1065 and i was wondering could i run a high rise stem without it feeling horrible. what are the pros and cons of running one and has anybody got one on a non high rise frame what does it feel like.

Hay diddy, yeah it will feel a lot better boyd has just got one and he likes it and is keeping his so i don't see why it would be a bad thing. It will feel better on the back wheel and gapping should feel easyer.

If i was you i would get one and try it out.

i think i should try one because i fancy a change, want something new and differnt.

anybody else had a personal experince of one, good, bad. :)

I've ridden an old style monty stem for short stock x231 frames. There were something like 120-125mm/20-25*. I rode it on 1040wb frame and hell yeah!:) It was soo nice. IMO Try to find it somewhere or search for something similar. Definatly worth a try. I put this stem on my current koxx lb1100 and it also felt very nice, but I was too small (i had bars around my neck:)) for that setup. I was thinking about putting this stem to bike with wb 1075, this should feel awesome!!!

From what I've seen on this forum, hi rise stems seem to be the thing to have for pitbulls. So if you can get your hands on a second hand hifi stem for instance (theres one in the for sale section I think) then it's definately worth a try.
