Mike Beck
heatsink reds are the worst brake pads in the world ever, dont even be temted to think about buying them(N) (yeah, worse than coolstops and blacks) and the worst bit of it is that i swapped them for koxx greens (lush with a grind). But its not all that bad 'cos il be getting some toxsin pads which are like the best ever.Cheers lewis
Lawnmowerman
Who cares? And toxsin pads wear down in about half an hour

A mates got some and theres no flex at all in his brake, REALLY stiff.Im sure Steve dosen't need tools like you making topics about how crap is pads are, when there obviously not.How long have you ridden them for? Why are they 'crap'?

Mike Beck
i have found them crap as they dont hold, sound poo and are rubbish with plastic backings, probs just my experience but will give them another chance. Maybe my megamo rims a bit sh!t too
echo_olie123
My mate Tom (onza_tom123) had a pair and not only did they work great they sounded the dogs..Ollie
Rob_P
Yeah it will depend on if your using them with a grind or not. Certain rims hold grinds better than others, i'm sure megemo isn't on the greatest side. A lot of people use them on the back, not sure about the front but still... Try them on the back maybe? If theres any residue on the pads rub them off with a bit of sandpaper or such like.
Wright Pads
I haven't even rode Heatsink reds only seen and heard them in action and i know they workGo check all of your brake and grind in particular mateWhen i see 10 or more saying they aint working then i might start to agree
James_Porter
i have been using them for ages now... steve sent me some coust pads and i stuck the reds back on after about a week cause i think they are even better than them. my opinion though i spose... just like you have your own view

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Yeah, i dont like the pads.I like koxx browns ALOT more, they actually bite and hold, unlike the HS reds. I thought for a change i would regrind my rim, and put the HS reds on, but after 1 day or riding, i went back to the browns, as the reds caused me to snap the bash off my frame cause the brake slipped too much
wtpchris
I borowed a paid of the pads and was about avbout this close to buying them. I really liked them, but went for the blues instead The reds have not much modulation, but are amazing to run on my bmx Highly recommend them
