westy6565
What do you think of these levers? In my opinion the new Magura HS33 levers are poop. i have ran my maggie HS33 Rear lever for about 2 months on and off riding and its threaded itself (The adjuster inside the lever Blade) by adjusting it every now and then, Its Cross Threaded itself.so i now have to adjust my brake at the pads when i want to change the feel of the brake until i fix it, Has anyone got this part i could have off them? (The threaded bolt that goes from the lever blade into the lever making the brake work. Also i was thinking about just running A Magura Louise Lever for the HS33, would this work?Cheers,Lewis
Robwalker
Hey, Shame about your brake i hate it when you get put out of riding because some crappy thing broke Cant you get the guarantee off Magura, sell them on and get a set of '04's? I've found '04's levers to be great never let me down, no problems and easy to maintain Rob
Mat Smith!
You mean the TPA? the little red thing, you can buy them, or get the metal bodge off Edd Pott's.Mat
Tony Harrison
Wasn't the metal bodge for 04 levers, or am I getting confused?I've been using a 2005 lever for about 7 months now and really like it. Never had any problems with the TPA either, and I'm not sure quite what people are doing to these levers to f**k them up.

Well.... I do anyway.Mat
westy6565
Yeah i was thinking about just trying to find an allen key bolt, I like the lever, but that really annoyed me how it cross threaded, Or i could try and get it fixed through my magura 5 Year garantee? krissis
just before these brakes hit the market i got my mate a pair from abroad and the 3rd day of having them he over tightened the tpa and cross threaded it, his reason was because they come with the evo2, they have no shoulders to adjust so the resivours sit further from the rim, (this might be the same for double bolt mounts) so when he adjusted the tpa it traveled all the way down the thread and got jammed at the bottom then when he went to retract the pads with the tpa it cross threaded, i think that maybe the reason people are recking their levers as it is easily done.
