Tony Harrison Posted April 9, 2006 Report Share Posted April 9, 2006 If you are swapping levers from working brakes, then you don't necessarily have to re-bleed. You can use an open-ended 8mm spanner to undo the hose off each lever and swap them over. Careful not to spill any fluid. Make sure that you wind the red TPA adjusters out first so that the levers are full of fluid...If the 2005 lever is new, and empty of fluid (i.e. it is not connected to a brake yet), then you'll have to attach it to the brake and bleed the whole thing.
