19'' Rim On The Front?

Recommended Posts

WHY?!

Personally I reckon that would be hideous, I mean, losing 5" up front would make my bike ride all funny :-

But seriously now, I can't see much point in it. The extra large tyre may give a bit more bounce I guess, but that's about it.

Anyway, not a mod rider so I'll leave you twisted perverts to it... ;)

i wanted to do that with my old mod but then decided there was no point. yeah it would give you a bit more bounce as the guy above said, but it would add weight, look horribe, be a b**tard to set brakes up, you dont need nothing that big on the front, you use the back wheel to land on and there fore i wouldnt recomend putting anything larger than a 2.25 tyre on 20" rim.

How ???? Bottom bracket height wouldnt be all that affected !!! It would work on a high BB frame like a GU but you'd need a wide set of forks.
