Bigman
Um,, i am not quite sure how people can do that to rims..........I had an echo 06 rim from last november, maybe a little earlier until just under a month ago, and it was fine, they hold grinds very well, i never dented it, it did have a small flatspot, but NOTHING like that pic above and i only got that from a harsh ride in bristol with under 20psiThis coming from a rider who is Atlest 6st heavier than most of the people on this forum!!!!!AdamPS; In my oppinion with you being not the smoothest person on the planet Ash, u may want to steer clear, but as i said, i never had any problems with mine....... Joe_Elding
I voted no but i havent used one, but the guy in woking i ride with actually snapped HIS RIM clean in half, there wasnt even a flatspot or anything before Edited April 7, 2006 by Joe_Elding
loffa
Yea, the exact same thing happened to me about a week ago. I got so big flatspot, that the tire didn't stay on any more. The rim was 4 months old. But I was being stupid and ordered a new one, as they were way cheaper than VIZ and try all

Ali C
1st one lasted me two weeks, killed it on a drop gap at the end of a comp.second one stayed intact, but the spokes would just loosen for fun, so I took it off.I went and played with my dented one, I sat on it in my room and snapped it in half, I could then snap the halfs into quarters by hand, I have never been able to do that with a rim before! Also, the sidewalls are just as thick as normal rims, at least mine were. How is everyone telling how thick they are? you cant just look down from above as the bead hook blocks the view.anyway, they are the worst rims I have ever used
MaXsteri
Mine looks like that but not as bad, had it since they first came out. I am alot smoother now than i was before, so i think if i was given a new one now it would fair alot better. Also my build was rubbish and i took no care of my wheel :$ So i dont think that helped. What else is there on the market thats a suitable alternative? (thinking ahead here for when it eventually dies)
