Balman
I have just got new echo 06 wheels for my onza t-pro and I have a disk hub on the front and i'm fed up with magura. So I want to get a Avid bb-7 disk on the front but of course I don't have the mount on the forks. So I was wondering what forks you would recommend I like koxx/try-all forks but i'm told they snap easy in street. Is this true and what other forks would you recommend something with a disk mount but I want to keep it light and strong if posable. Thanks.Jack. rock_stock_rider
There are loads of great options out there: If you're on a slight budget, then go for the Echo Lite forks at £70ish, they are slightly flexy forks but it isn't that bad a thing. Probably the most popular forks out there. Very lightweight forks, but not necessarily weaklings!More expensive options: Zoo Forks are straight blade instead of curved, and have a CNC'd crown meaning stiffer feel in theory. IMO they don't look as good as curved forks on mods.Echo Team CNC forks: Curved, ball burnished, CNC'd crown, pretty stiff. Disc only. GU 20" forks: Curved, black, CNC'd crown, supposed to be stiffer than the Team CNC fork reading some threads on OTN.Koxx Forxx 20": Strongish, similarish to Echo Lite forks, bit pricey.Viz 20" fork: Stiff, strong, comes in black or polished silver, looks really cool like an Echo Lite fork with ripple in the tubing for stiffness.Apart from those there are other choices like Onza Smart Guys, Fall guys, and Monty 221ti forks, but the forks you should look at really are either the Echo Lites or the Viz
Hobnobs
Monty 221Pr forks. Cheaper than echo lites, black, disk and magura mounts. Pretty light, about 850g.If money isnt too tight, then echo teams would be the best option imo. Look good, very stiff, and not super heavy. Deonn h
Zoo forks are the strongest and stiffest out there .But they only have disk mount so if you want to change back then you can`t.
