domonza
Right ,after buying a a new onza 20 tooth fixed front sprocket i went out for a ride and it was fine didnt do anything big just rid around, then didnt ride for a bout two weeks but the other day i went out and tried a static hop up a wall and i just flew over the bars, after finding out what the problem was i realised that it has spripped the threads of my cranks. the sprocket was definitley tight so it couldent of worked loose, and i dnt know why it has done it does any body know why this is.?I have tensile cranks with the tensile bash guard, if it helps.cheersdom
Hobnobs
Well, as tarty said in another topic, they only strip if they arent on properly. Tensiles are good cranks, so im guessing the cog was just slighlty wonky when you put it on.
nafan
Meybe it was on sideways, and got crossthreaded... or maybe there was some shit in it when you did it up and it chewed up with that... Nathan
Onza Kieron
Bet your pissed, those are the only possibilitys, unless there wasn't much thread under the sprocket because of the bash.
domonza
Bet your pissed, those are the only possibilitys, unless there wasn't much thread under the sprocket because of the bash.Iam very pissed of, your not gonna believe the things that have happened to me.1. i just got a zoo pitbull frame of my mate and the headtube is flared. i dont know how ias i put it in properly and very carefully.2. My mech is f**ked and is letting me just about ride.3.I have found a crack in my bars4. my sproket has ripped the threads of my cranks.5. my front brake has just popped and i have only bin out on my new bike once when most these things happened. but anyway i think should take the bashguard of and screw the sprocket on more because then it has more threads to grip. but if i do this i wont have anything to protect my bike and cranks.thanks you for listening to my moan but i just had to get it all out.
