alexnessie
Right you bummers, I've just sent off my provisional form...I'm 17 on the 9th of May, and I should get my provisional back by then, so I'd like to knowhow quickly I could get a full license?I've got no problems paying for a lesson every day, but I'd prefer to do as few lessons as possible. Is there some course I can take to get me on a full license asap?I'd prefer to get a full license in less than a month, since I've started a new job recentlyand its a long cold walk to work and back. Siders77
Intense driving course? IIRC it's a full week of lessons.I don't think the pass rates are very good, though/

Rob_P
IIRC courses are shite. Just get a driving instructor, a good one!!!! Not some random cus he'll use one lesson for indicating left and another for right He'll milk you else.Have as many lessons as possible a week maybe, depends on what your doing otherwise.Book your theroy test online for the week after. That'll force you to revise and get it done with.
Tom Booth
Word up with Rob.Dont try and rush your learning to drive, If you do you'll just end up failing endless times. Speak to a few instructors, see what sort of weekely course they can do for you.Tom
trials_pimp
timing is badYoull have about a 2 month wait for a test if you booked it now, everyone wants to be on the road for the summer
Dai the Socket
Yeah.Rob's right I think. I'd get on the parent's insurance, talk with your dad what you need to do etc etc. Go out with him / your mum and then you can skip the first 1-2 lessons from your instructor. As Rob said. Book theory ASAP. When you pass that, book your practical straight after. General waiting time is 2-3 weeks around me, but it varies.Good luck! mod_rider
Learn the basics and then get as much practice in as possible. I didn't pay for a single lesson, just learning with my dad, and I passed first time 28 days after my 17th.Practice is the key.

yoyoyo
I wouldn't do a Intensive driving course, although you get it done in a week. Because they try to cram everything in you don't learn it well and most people end up crashing soon after.I'm just going with an instructor, and it's going fine. Just remember to drive with your parents in between lessons.

Danny
Because they try to cram everything in you don't learn it well and most people end up crashing soon after.Just ask tom I did mine over summer doing 2 90min lessions a week. Cost me an absolute fortune but it was worth it in the end. Passed first time too.
Dai the Socket
Passed first time too.How many minors Danny?
Guest
Spent about 200 quid on lessons and passed first time 4 minors and not had any dodgy moments (involving other vehicles) Intensive courses = unexperienced drivers bumping up my already stupid insurance costs.
