rocks370
hello.I've just upgraded my DDG Shooter frame to a Saracen Urban trials frame but my Mageras dont fit with my (also new) try-all rear rim The Mageras are so close to the rim it doesnt actually turn and ive also tryed spacers on the rear axel but no luck. Is there anything else i could try? Heres some pictures showing the problem:As you can see, the Mageras are as far back as they can be.I hope some one can help Si Edited April 4, 2006 by rocks370
montyrider
My friend has had this problem before on his mod when he bought some yellow koxx blocks he had his cylinders maxed and the rim was too wide! So we just filed the pads down, took a while but it works...just make sure you file them flat Hope that helps buddy
rocks370
Thanks for that idea but i think the actual magera caliper that surrounds the pad is still to close to the rim.I think i will just sell it and but a better frame and one where it will fit.Is there any other frames that i will have the same problem with?I don't want to make this mistake agiain
