mat hudson
well, someone at curtis thought it would be funny to give my bike a "comedy" tiny seat tube. basically its 22.0 and i can only find crappy steel seat posts with the crapo guts at the top. does anyone know a decent aluminium seat post that will fit this size. more importantley does anyone know garry curtis?? feel free to punch him in the nads. then pat him on the back because the frames awesome to ride cheers folks, mat. boon racoon
i know him!mate those 22mm seat tubes are made for mini seats (push in) or the old skool padded ones eg orange which had 22mm posts built into themi use a thin alloy post (cut off the bottom of an orange mini seat)surely it only needs to be like 2 inches long? even if it's super thick steel (i had one for a while) it wont weigh muchi run an old skool (very) bmx clamp upside down to make the seat sit lower.works a dime (though i do have a 27.2mm seattube with a shim)boon
