basher
ive got a gu mod since crimbo but having problems with the tensioners on it. there isnt much tyre clearence on them and when ever i ride after setting up tension of the chain and the alignment of wheel it pulls over and rubs. has anyone got any suggestions. you cant use tugs like the onza ones as the drop out are to small for that. has any one got any ideas or if other people have had this problem how did they solve it. i ve tryed using snail cams with notches in them but it still moves and its hard to tension the chain as you have to get it past each notch.any ideas are welcome Edited April 2, 2006 by andy h
Lawnmowerman
Put something between the axle and the end of the dropout. I've used that method on a lot of bikes

TheFabricator
instead of a snailcam use a round washer the right size or one thats slightly to big and file one notch in it.
poopipe
i think i remember seeing somebody who'd cut some onza tensioners down to fit a gu - that'd sort you outfailing that, get some smooth snailcams. the steel ones from tarty seem to be pretty sound, i've been running them for a month or two with no problems and it gets you round the notch problem.
