rocks370
hey,ive just built up a wheel, hope pro 2 rear hub and try-all 26" rim and was wondering what to do about rim tape. its too wide for a normal one and duck tape will attracte the dirt on the inside through the holes.has anyone had the same problem and how did you sort it?cheers guys. GlynnP
flip the duck tape / electrical tape the other way around so it will not attract the dirt so u have sticky side up and go around the wheel, then do another layer but with sticky side down so it does not stick to your tube.Hope this helps, cheers Glynn

JT!
Unless you want your inner tube stuck on the inside, stick two long pieces of duck tape together, so they are non-sticky on both sides.
