got a park on the cards in my town of Hebden Bridge. Was cool, they asked us!! I cant get them to stop emailing or phoning me

I am going to bust my guts to make sure its a DECENT park, I need to practise for the worlds, a shitty little park will not be good enough and I wont be shy about it!

Theres somthing else planned at my local quarry too, the local council are wanting to turn it into a sports activity hub, they plan on having dh tracks, 4x and dual tracks, dirt jumps, a ski slope, xc routes and they are interested in making it more trials friendly too. Its already got tons of rocks and is amazing to ride, but I fancy some man made stuff to help with UCI style comps. They want to hold lots of comps there too, so that all sounds good.

Similar thing down here going on at Holden Woods (massive woods!!) There already got a great downhill and x-country setup and are now looking into making a dedicated trials area. Even though we have far more natural than we need in Devon it's always good to see the local councils taking a big intrest, they already sponsor Andrei so they must mean business!?

Did these lads in Kent get done over by the radio station then?? Contact the papers get some dirt on them and then they'll do something, don't let them get away with it.

Ditto. Contact Kent Trading Standards (see your local yellow pages!) and report them. Its actually legal to host fraudulant competitions, which, in affect is what happened.

Some people don't bother reading the previous posts, do they?!

The council here is planning on building some 'dirt jumps' next to the skatepark. Wayhay, like we didn't have enough glass and mud on there already.

When it was first designed i asked if we could have pallets for trials riders but that was a no go because they would get burnt. Should of asked for some big rocks but it was like 4 years ago and i could couldn't ride natural.

Let us know how that progresses Matt, would be well up for riding at somewhere which is a dedicated trials playground.
