Janson
Taking chunks out of CF bars is NEVER good. I'd be a bit careful with them.

Trials Punk
Dave. If you've taken a chunk out of the bars chances are they're going to snap. Alright for light use though. Because its woven even a sligh gouge affects strength quite a bit. Being woven is what keeps its strength.Be carefull boyo.

dave33
its actually through the crabon, the grey bit is the alu incert
Shaun H
its actually through the crabon, the grey bit is the alu incertI thought that's what I could see. But anyway that's probably not too good, the aluminium inside isn't very thick and that chip is towards the top of the bar where forces from dropping are going to be high. I wouldn't trust them for anything other than riding to and from places on EDIT: Just to add I'm running 28" pazzaz bars, no snappage Edited March 30, 2006 by Shaun H
dave33
as for people thinking the onza and pazzaz are the same i just had a look on the net, pazzaz are 252 grams and onza are 263 grams

Prawny Baby
the main difference ive seen between the bars is the size of the weave, and the thickness at the ends.the pazzaz bars have a much lager more spread out weave, and are much thicker at the ends than the onza ones ive seen. mad_gavo
I'm now facing the same dilemer after damaging my onza carbon bars. Damage don't look too bad but I'm still worried. Theres a scuff where the onza logo is. Although it doesn't look like it has gone past the laqure this going to affect them much? what did you do in the end with yours replace them? Also where the bike has been dropped numerous times the ends of the bars have a few chips and cracks in. i thought the fact that my grips had rubber ends on them would protect them. Apparently not this going to effect the strenght too?
