The person who has lost it has obvioulsly phoned their network to get their sim blocked to prevent pikeys using all their credit/ contract. Try various other sims, they may work. Extreme_biker0
He's proabbyl claimed off insurance, meaning they clock the phone by the IEMI number. This identifies the phone, and blocks it by that, so the phone bacomes useless. There is no way to change it on most phones.Sorry to piss on your bonfire.
nmt_oli
The K750i isnt quite as robust as something like an old nokia, so it will be mroe suseptable to damge from the wet. Its also a possibility that it cant find the sim as the circuit that detects the sim is permanantly broken.

Guest
cheers lad,but it does detect the sim and it works fine i will get my dads mate to have a gandersIf it works fine then why the need to post a topic asking how to get it to work? i think the phone may be barred i comes up with 'inactive sim' when turning it on but the sim is fine? Is this one of your own sim cards or the sim card that came with the phone? If it comes up 'inactive sim' the sim is probobly not fine..... Tomm
Is this one of your own sim cards or the sim card that came with the phone? If it comes up 'inactive sim' the sim is probobly not fine.....It's probably actually nothing to do with the sim. The phone will be locked and un-used. The best thing to do would be to find out whose it is (if you can) and return it. Just for, you know, doing a good deed.
