Prawny Baby
as above really.....ive had my king hub over 3 1/2 years now, and ive never had a single problem with it until lately.....ive just found out today that ive now snapped my SIXTH axle......it happened last year and cost me £90 to have all new bearings fitted and serviced by adam....this is getting annoying!!!!the hubs perfect other than that.it seems that everytime i snap an azle, im in a very bad financial state and am never able to upgrade to an HD azle with funbolts....ah well, got myself an hd axle in my new king GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ogre
I don't own a king hub but looking at prices etc i would be so pissed off if anything went wrong on it, it's quite disapointing realy.... thinking about things i've never snapped an axle in biking "poperly" for some 5 years and i've never had anything bigger than 10mm and i'm a heavy b*****d lol! (have bent two though) Edited March 29, 2006 by ogre
Hobnobs
My king is wonderful, although its a bmx one so i assume its got the HD axle already? Either way, i prefer it to a profile, my chums one doesnt seem to want to be nice, and he had to take it apart during a ride.
Swize
I don't own a king hub but looking at prices etc i would be so pissed off if anything went wrong on it, it's quite disapointing realy.... thinking about things i've never snapped an axle in biking "poperly" for some 5 years and i've never had anything bigger than 10mm and i'm a heavy b*****d lol! (have bent two though)Yep ok I agree there expensive and everything but on the other hand there a XC hub so they don't make the axles extremly strong to stand up to trials use so you can't really complain if the axle snaps. I thort king did one of thease if it breaks send it back to use and we will ment it policy ? Sam
quick_spider
If you need an axle to keep you going I can lend you my whore of an axle... It's seen several hubs and survived so far...Jon

Janson
Maybe you should invest in an axle of the HD variety?

And also- your axle was fine when i serviced it- when it started skipping is prob when it snapped (unless your talking abotu your new HD axled hub).Also- wheres the option for
