Dan Clark
Basically, I'm looking for an alternative MSN client which preferably allows the use of webcam, Gaim keeps logging off and not showing up messages and stuff, and I wondered what else you people would recommend? Thanks a lot. yoyoyo
I use Adium, it's great. Some people prefer Fire, but Adium is the most popular. Or you could of course just get the microsoft one, but that's a bit crap.Just came across this from Tomm in random small questions thread, i don't use them though so i don't know what their like. Tomm
Just came across this from Tomm in random small questions thread, i don't use them though so i don't know what their like. That's for Mac though...The only other one I know of for PC besides gaim is Trillian. I used it ages ago in the years of MSN 5 or thereabouts, but I hear it's pretty crap these days. Maybe worth a look though.Or there's always the hacked/patched version of the official MSN, dunno if you tried that. Just gets rid of a lot of the bloated crap that pisses off anyone older than the age of 8.
Dan Clark
It's for my girlfriend, it always says the service is too busy when she tries to log on msn. I tried opening up the ports as you said, but when I try setup a static IP, the computer comes up with an error message.I'll make her try trillian.
