N Roach Posted March 28, 2006 Report Share Posted March 28, 2006 The freewheel is a problem for me, and i think i have found a way around this problem but im not shore if this will work; I was thinking about putting a "Onza Bashring/Chainring Combo (Orbita)" on my Muscleman crank, and then fitt a acsfreewheel "welded version" to my T-pro hub but i dont now what chain will fitt.Can you help me guys Cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mark W Posted March 28, 2006 Report Share Posted March 28, 2006 Hey dude,If you go for the ACS, you won't need a welded version on the back 'cos they only undo themselves on the front. That means you can keep the extractor tabs on it, and have it open-able for when you need to service it properly If you can, go for a 16t ACS Claw, as that'll be a nicer ratio with a 22t chainring up-front than if you get an 18t. Mods, in general, should try and stick as close to a 1.5 ratio (divide the front gear by the rear ) as possible, so 22:16 will be a bit nicer than 22:18 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
