It might have dug into the freehub a little bit. try twisting it a bit to try and free it up and if that doesn't work then a few taps with a hammer might sort it. Tony Harrison Posted March 28, 2006 Report Share Posted March 28, 2006 Probably because the cogs have dug into the free-hub. With mine, I put the lockring back on, and using a chain-whip and cassette tool try and loosen it (so, turn tools as if you're doing lockring up). The if the cassette moves, move it along the freehub to a fresh space (you should have room if you removed first cog), and then undo...
