Gavyn.
the try all tyres feel way more grippy than creepies they are so springy and well worth the money if i only rode street i'd probs get creepy crawlers but Try alls feel great on logs rocks and stuff
mr ailsbury
I had a pair of try-all tyres once upon a tme very grippy and light but they only lasted me 1 or 2 months before they were completly dead and in my opinion they aren't any better than creepy crawlers to be honest, definatly not worth all that money

Walleee
Is it me or is it 2006? Or have I really missed the point?I didn't get that either, perhaps it cos it was 2005 that they came out or somethin....I don't even know why I bothered adding that, Im running a monty 2.7 on the rear now, havn't had a chance to ride it just yet but it certainley seems to be spot on. Mark W
so they do wrap around nice, but then they are to flat and pinch?ride smoother then or pay the extra cash Dave. I know you're not going to be able to accept this, but you don't get it They don't really wrap around nicely, and they never really react nicely. I was joking about finding a sweet-spot They don't feel as good as Maxxis stock tyres do (do you get it yet?!), so don't feel too upset I'm saying a Maxxis product isn't great Anyways, again, I've had 2 pinches with it, but they feel like shit. Riding smoother won't make them not feel like shit...
dave33
seem to me your the one who doesnt get it, and as for you saying a maxxis product is shit doesnt bother me at all but your making a mountain out of a mole hill here, either ride the cheaper tyres and dont moan about the ride, or buy the more expensive tyres and dont moan about the price.f**k safe go and ride your bike and stop debaiting every thing.and as for the sweet spot- elgato is is the same when it comes to off cambour it just launches you in one direction, but let the pressure down abit and they don't, infact they wrap round nice, like most tyres with paper side walls. but if you land hard they pinch simple as thati rode and el gato for years i know what im talking about here, managed not to pinch it that much(leaned to be smooth)i think thei topic has gone on long enough
Mark W
I'm still running them Dave, don't worry I'm just talking about my experiences with this tyre, which will probably be more than your's with this tyre? Anyways, never mind I guess.
dave33
yes of course as you ride a maxxis, but i have plenty of experiences with that type of tyre, like when trials tyres or any products werent avilable to buybut its the fact that you have to debate every thing, theres just no need as i said before you either buy the better tyre or buy the worse tyre.at least you have a decent one availabe to buy, trials wasnt always like this
Mark W
You even said yourself the Creepy Crawler sidewalls are different to the stock ones which is the point I was making. The sidewalls on them are shit compared to the stock ones, and as a result, they ride like shit.Congratulations as well for spotting that trials products have moved on. Top marks. This is a forum, it's for debating stuff. It's raining like f**k (and has been for 8 days, although it's starting to stop a bit now...), and I'm bored. You don't even ride a mod any more, so why the f**k are you wasting your time in this thread anyway?
