TrashZen
Basically, just cut off my fork steerer tube, was ready to fit in a spare star fangled nut in there, but it won't fit . Is there any special narrow star fangled nuts for the thicker wall aluminium tubing or do I just file down the standard bit to size?Any advice welcome... Janson
1" starfangle! I used it on my Echo Urban fork with the thick aluminium steerer tube.

I should have asked ... thanks by the way it arrived the next day, but I wanted to ride the WE before I'd go into dismounting everything, 'cause there's always the last minute missing bit. I'll give it a try at the grind, else I'll give you a call tomorrow.
