Onza Kieron
Just send it back to Tarty or wherever you bought it and I'm sure they'll replace it, so long as it doesnt show signs of use.

Mark W
Haha, wait for it to start flat-spotting My Try-All front was impossible to get true when I had it too, which was a little poop. The rear was a mission to get true too, but I persevered

N.Wood
Yeh mine was pretty straight out of the box, now i've built it up it's damn close to perfect, even after a month or 2 of riding.
tipsy Jock
Yeh mine was pretty straight out of the box, now i've built it up it's damn close to perfect, even after a month or 2 of riding.Mines still pretty damn straight, took me fecking ages to true up without a stand, sheldon brown says start with the biggest buckle first the whole damn thing was a big buckle! It's fine now though the odd tweak of a nipple here and there and its all groovy.
cvtrial
If you build it up wrong the first time, it's a biiig problem to fix it the second or third time!
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Arnt all rims bent when you first buy them?Thats what truing is for?
N.Wood
Most rims are pretty much straight, but as soon as you lace it up you're putting stresses on the rim that are very often not equal, creating a wheel that needs to be trued before you've ridden it.Technically if you had a straight rim and built it up with exactly the same spoke tension on each spoke it should remain straight.
