downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
It was 100% fine like 4 weeks ago, intill i attemped a 9 foot roling gap, and went straight to bash, and landed at an angle, and it cracked the frame, and then i done a backwheel 43" high and brake slipped and went to bash and it just twanged off

Janson
if it's only the gusset, put a bashring on and live happily ever after.

Mark W
I suppose if I got well tech and machined the arm nearer the freewheel threads thinner and machined the splines on to run that bashring I could, but to be honest, much hassle? downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
wouldnt that bach rape the threads on my crank arm which the freewheel screws onto?

Swize
wouldnt that bach rape the threads on my crank arm which the freewheel screws onto? Can't see what after all it is desiged to be run on what you have?
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Can't see what after all it is desiged to be run on what you have? But isnt there diffrent type of tensile cranks?Ones where these bash's are supposed to fit onto, my ones (where a bash cannt fit) and ones where the black bash goes on?http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=51Click the bottom pic, you will see some little notches where the bash goes, mine doesnt have them... so my freewheel wouldnt srew on properly... Mark W
No. The main part of the Tensile crank arm is the same, except on the UCI model you get the splines that fit into that UCI bash that someone posted. You can use an Echo bash or similar, but you'll have to get handy with the file/grinder to make it thin enough so you can run a freewheel (based on my experience of an Echo CNC'd bash, FSA 73x128 BB and an Eno...). BikeDotStuffAtOnzaDotCom
I've never seen one broken there before. So while I think you could smooth it off and carry on riding as everyone suggests, I don't know for certain. Is there just smooth tube under there or a hole? Please let us know how you get on.As for the bashring, did they mean THIS bashring/chainring combo?I don't know if that would fit to that variety of T-Pro (not seen it tried). You would possibly need a longer bottom bracket and of course the freewheel would go at the back.
JT!
That's terror-ble terror. Anyway, since when were you able to do anthing 9ft?
