Houseface
yes, you could still run a front screw on cog steve.

AdamR28
A long time if you fit the sprocket correctly
Siders77
A long time if you fit the sprocket correctly How do you fit a sprocket correctly? Isn't it a case of just screwing it on? Lol.

Dan6061
I'm guessing you're using an 18t freewheel on the back... (T-Bird/T-Vee?) If you still wanna run the rear freewheel (think that's what you mean...) then you'll need a 24t(?) front screw on sprocket. Or...have loadsa fun removing your freewheel, whack that on the cranks, and put a 12t fixed cog on't back.

Greetings
If you can, try and buy something out of 7075 aluminium. I had a pair 6061 ZOO CNC cranks and after about 1 month (!!) of riding, the splines started getting very loose (cranks could be removed without any tools). The cranks were screwed in proberly just in case you ask. 3 months later they were so loose I couldn't ride them any more without putting some razors inbetween the axle and spline. ogre
I'm upgrading parts as they break (although i might get a zip anyway come november) and my cranks are dying so i thought i'd work out what to get now. my frames fine, and i like the way it feels so i'll stick with it till it's holding me back. Mark W
To be honest though dude, I had a yr 2000 T-Bird and thought it rode really nicely and I could do stuff on it fine. I got a new frame and rode a hell of a lot better. More recently I had a T-Pro and it felt perfect, then I got the Zip and it was just so much better... ogre
i spose i could go from an old pro to a zip but whats the point when i could go straight to a zip with some slightly better parts? (also some idiot in my village will give me like£100 for my frame and forks hah)
