A lighter version of the the Monty xlite mod stem this model is as featured on the 221Ti mod bike. It has titanium bolts and comes with monty sloped topcap.

Seems very 'mod-like' to me, but it says it had ti bolts?

Best phone them though becuase bike dock are assholes for things like this.

ill probs give them a ring, was it like this when you odered yours jt!? or was it normal

When i orderd mine it was correct on their site. But if you think about it, you might get the ti bolts version for dead cheap, and then if you get the wrong item, you'll be able to send it back with no problems as it was their fault. Maby worth it? You might get the ti version. :-

The only place you'll get the 20" stem without Ti bolts is IF you can find a dealer who has some VERY old stock in. We sold out of them over a year ago and have not been able to get any more.

The 221 Ti is the only Monty model that uses that stem so they do now only come with the ti bolts.

That pic on BikeDock is definitely the 20" stem - but it does say for the 231 (26"). My guess is that they've just used the wrong picture. And the 231 stem comes with normal bolts. :S

A cheaper alternative to the 221 Ti stem could be the new 221 pro stem.
