domonza Posted March 24, 2006 Report Share Posted March 24, 2006 Hi, after recently building my stock bike ive decided i want a front disk but im a little unsure of which one to get, I was thinking something along the lines of an avid but im not to up to date with them, are there certain types of avid as ive heard peope say bb5 and bb7 but what exactly is the difference between them all and im looking for the one with the most power which one would you recomend,and how much do you think you would look to be paying for one.Cheers any help would be appreciated. Dan Clark Posted March 24, 2006 Report Share Posted March 24, 2006 The BB7 is more adjustable, both pads can adjust instead of just the outer, I'd say its worth the extra.The power on my Avid is immense, I like the system used to set it up too.
