Your telling me.

I sent £7 to a fella, five pound note and two pound coins, he recieved it today, with only a five pound note. Apparently it was unopened and still had the tape I put on it on the back, I am 100% certain I put the coins in too....

Derren brown moved into postal work perhaps?

The things is im certain the coins were put into the envelope, upon delivery it was unopened, yet there were no coins.... assuming the fella isn't trying to scam me out of £2 (hardly worth it) I can't seem to explain it....

Postal service is well weird......

1. Never send cash.

2. Use recored delievry, and then if anything goes missing, you can claim it back (and lie about it and say there was more in it) but it might say somewhere on the T&C that your not allowed to send cash.

I *think*:

Recorded delivery only allows the sender to know if it's been received. So basically use that if you don't trust the person you're selling it to very much. But it doesn't actually get you any more compensation if it goes missing. Everything is insured to £27 (unless you pay for more insurance), recorded or not. Special deliv ery is different though.

It wasn't much money and I would never send more than I can afford to loose.

The kid told me he'd get his mates paypal address so I could send the rest to him and he'd post the gear yesterday 1st class, nothing's arrived today and he never gave me the paypal address. I'm starting to get rather pissed with people doing things at their leisure once they have your money.

Not that it matters as my frame isn't coming until monday at the earliest now...... (N)
