But yes discs do apply a lot of force to the lower part of the leg just above the disc mount and in forks that aren't really intended for super powerful trials use brakes then they can crack and snap. They're great forks, im only getting rid of them to buy a set of disc brake forks. £65 for them if you fancy. Top of the line forks, and they ride great! let me know.
