hill_393
Just wanted a general opinion really from people. I'm selling my Adamant to go back to an 05 MAD Saracen Frame simply because I hated the feel of a really high bottom bracket. I've gone the opposite way to everyone recently, and have gone for a short frame simply cause i like m riding to be flicky and flowing. I try and link a lot of moves. Getting on the Adamant made my riding 10* worse from the very beginning. Up's and spins were basically out of the question, as were G Turns and Front Hops. I've jst ordered a new frame, and I know getting back on a Zero Axle frame should improve my riding. What's peps views on High BB's?Darren
Euro Braker
I love my Zona Zips geometry. It is sooo stable on the back wheel and easy to do trials on but what hill_393 said you cannot do street tricks and front wheel tricks on it.I have been on an Adament A2 and found that easy to ride as it is sort of the same as my Zona (high bb and long). As I am a tall person I hit my knees on the bars or stem on a small length frame doing rolling gaps so I dont ride them often.
derenkirby
it feels to me that higher bb's are a lot better on backwheel stuff and you can get more distance because of this.
planet x alan
i like both feels really. i do enjoy doing spins and front wheel moves but i also like the stability on the back wheel of the higher bb frames. having more clearance also means easier to roll over smaller obs in a comp also i find the higher bb frames impossible to manual Edited March 22, 2006 by planet x alan
Ali C
high bb frames are glorified pogo sticks, theres more to trials than back hopping you know!if you havnt worked it out, I HATE high bb frames but its all personal preference really

derenkirby
would you class +35 as a high bb...........?Most of what i've seen on MOD frames are about 50-60 so i guess thats quite low if its mod but if not i have no idea
