biketrialler
yes f**king way. you are screwed. the only way out is if somehow you can prove that it wasnt your fault but the chances of that are extremely slim! 2 steps.phone the old man up and find out what he has done exactly and see if it can be settled outside of it in any way. and be ready to pay well over the odds seeing that you are legally in the wrong here. if that fails and its going through insurance, take action to phone your insurance company and find out if there is anything you can do and find out where you stand, as in all cases running away from it wont get you anywhere. i cant believe you thought he'd forgotten. I know i'd take it through insurance and get it all sorted professionally and properly if i were him.

anzo
I don't mean to worry you here Joe, but be prepared to have to pay out more than you expected. You said that the woman in the car was complaining of whiplash, technically if you have a crash and anyone gets injured, the police must be informed no matter what, although on the same note, that's their responsibility as much as it is yours.A personal claim is quite likely at the minute, if they wanted/released the chance they have at the minute, they could take you to the cleaners and rape you for a personal injury claim, and its getting more and more popular now due to the no win-no fee companies, so if she clicks on, she could claim against you.He has obviously contacted the insurance and one of the questions would be 'Was anyone injured?' if he said yes, there is a possibility that the police may look into this, because 1. No injury was reported and 2. You didn't contact your insurance. And so, if the police bring up the matter, it may result in her making a claim agains't you.
