joewhite
i meant without painting over, paint stripping or removing any of the paint underneath (if there is any)cheers joe
Janson
you can't. etching leaves a bare surface, ie removes anodising and paint.so it's pretty hard to remove it.
Onza Kieron
Sanding, fileing or lots of caustic soda. or wirewool obviously, anything that scores the surface of the material.
joewhite
kk are the zona zip *stickers* laser etched ? Edited March 19, 2006 by joewhite
sir trial a lot
Zona Zip stickers are stickers then laqured over. Lazer Etching is where they lazer the graphics on (like a whitey colour that is rough. So yeah, Zona stickers are laqured over so you will need to wet&dry them off then repaint the frame.Dont know if i can spell laqure :$

Dr. Nick Riviera
some people are dense , leave the stickers on. if you sand them off it will look shit *fact*better off re painting the whole bike , but say bye to your warranty

The lemonade man
Just use nitromors then re-laquer. It's what I did on my t-pro and it worked out nicely.
Dr. Nick Riviera
nope you'll end up taking the finish off the frame , i am unsure whether its anodised or painted , if its anodised you can nitromors the laquer off peel away the stickers and then re laquer , but i suggest you make some new zona ones so you can keep your warranty.not 100% sure , no doubt another zona owner (heh) will come to the rescue
