Jaffacakes
i love men Rugby is blatantly the better of the two. Foot ball is so uneventfull, you sit in a stand occasionally shouting "yeah" or "Whoo!" then at the end of those boring 90 minutes only one goal is scored "you what ref that woz not in, r u gay or sumfin".With rugby it's a constant battle and is more physical, not boring to watch ether since they usually score 10+ try's, and come out with broken nose's

Simon
Im just tellin u my opinion But 'cause you type like a retard, your opinion is void. Woooooo. Anyway, i loved playing football in high school, hated playing rubgy. Mainly 'cause all the big boys would group together and just leave you to get the shit kicked out of you. However, i hate watching football, unless its a world cup and our country is involved, then, and only then do i watch. I've never actually watched a full game of rugby, nor do i intend too, i guess the sport just doesn't grab me, but i can see how it would be a lot more enjoyable. It's like a mini war with advances and losses, where as football is just a dance off.

manuel
Rugby is'nt a sport its a past time!Football is a propa sport CARDIFF CITY FC!! LOYAL SUPPORTER! 1-0 TO THE SHEEP SHAGGERS 1-0 TO THE SHEEP SHAGGERS! 1-0 .EASY EASY EASY EASY Rugby: Ooooo, I broke my nose, I'll carry on playing though. Football: Oooo, I broke a nail, MEDIC, MEDIC!!!!!!! Football is the most media hyped load of crap ever...Its got to the stage where in the world cup a man will fall over and play dead for 10 mins when he is hit by the football from 15-20 yards to get someone from the opposing team sent off. . . . I love international rugby because its just like war with rules...Its 80 mins of pure commitment, skills, passion, power etc football - occasionally gets exciting - last real excitement 1996 we had a good england manager we played beautiful football for a whole tournament and were robbed a european championship by a post and gazza being short and fat.these days football is all about cash rugby for the winOh and england are indeed playing depressingly badly at the moment. Jules
Im not really interested in either sport, but football is soooo boring to watch compared to rugby, I enjoy watching rugby because it has so much more suspense.

Mark W
I watched one of the 6 Nations games, then saw Match Of The Day. Only when watching them back to back can you see how much of a f**king joke top-flight football is (most football actually, 'cos it seems most of the younger players try and emulate those cockfaces in the premiership and pick up the same "We're f**king plebs" habbits). matthewholdsworth
rugby players are proper "gentlemen" the ref is called sir/mr (insert name here) and u DO NOT QUESTION his decisions. the ref mic available on the bbc is great to follow the game, makes it easier for new comers to the sport to understand whats going on.why then is this not used in football, honest opinion because footballers are foul mouth individuals whose language would not be broadcastable before 9:30 pm. that is a crying shameprime example wales v scotland 20 mins into a brutal match and a scottish player kicked out at a welsh players head following a late tackle.in the following refs decision (all audiable on bbc) the ref said "following the rules of the game, this player kicked out and i have to send him off". in such a tight game the scottish player, rather than get in the face of the ref replied "im sorry sir i didnt mean to kick his head" then to his welsh opponent said im sorry and shook his hand the left the pitch. at no time did any other play run up to the ref and start pushing/shouting/gesturing at him. i cant think of a time this happens in modern day football.before anyone says "yeah but rugby player have fights", yes they do proper fights, that are good to watch ( ) but at the end of the game they shake hand and have a beer at the bar, no agression for the next time the meet on the pitch
mat hudson
you noticed? scotland vs wales everyone meets up after has a laugh. ireland vs scotland everyone meets up and has a few pints of guiness etc after. wales vs ireland same kind of thing you get the idea when my business teacher went to see a match in london, she had to get into her car and drive home out of fear of being attcked for wearing a wales shirt. freindley football fans. i thik its the same for rugby in england too though, the core fans just have a tendancy to get well violent. shame really. tipsy Jock
Best part of the 6 nations for me was how bizarre it all was, no team played consistently and it left the tournament wide open up until the last 2 weeks. Oh and Scotland played incredibly Look out for us at the world cup next year Its going to be a good year for Rugby next year
Has anyone seen my shoe?
The thing with rugby is the agression is left on the pitch, for instance, last tuesday we were playing this team and one of them is a right fanny on the field but not too bad off the field. And its the same with the majority of teams, of course you get the odd complete twat but they're rare.
