Please don't say that adverts don't influence you at all :P . In a way think of this as "Rate the advert" and not how well it sells itself to you to gain sales

I don't get it :S

The guy in the old truck thinks he can outpace a brand new sports car, but really its just a strong gust of wind that is blowing the un-aerodynamic truck and high speeds along the road

Looks more like he was going to pull out infront of the Audi, but it was going too fast and he got caught in the Slipstream, so it pulled him along behind it. Obviously when the Audi pulled in, the slipstream was lost and so the truck slowed down.

Comedy value aside , this is clearly intended for the U.S market . I expect Audi will offer a sleek , modern , hightech angle for the European / U.K advertising campaign . As for the ad itself ... the punchline falls flat and time is wasted establishing the setting .
