The lemonade man
Can anyone advise me on how to stay on the back wheel when you land on something like a rail? I can't keep the front end up for more than a second or 2.Also, when I'm going for a gap or drop I find it alot harder to get my balnce and then get the confidence to go to the edge of what I'm on. Has anyone else had this problem and does it go when you get more confident at things? Thanks Edited March 18, 2006 by The lemonade man
Krisboats
Although i was trying to do some rails this morning and i couldn't get them the key to keeping yourself on the back wheel is to land ontop of the rail not hit it and roll up the edge of it, this way you'll have to hop to keep the front end up and you usually slip. What you want to try and do is almost overshoot the rail but instead of clearing it completely push you rear wheel down onto the top of it that way you will be much more likely to land nicely on the object and you won't find it as hard to keep the front end up.So basically jump too much and place the back wheel down.
