Jaffacakes
Once the rim has been anodised its a bitch to get off.You only really have two options. Get a grind, or buy some caustetic soda from tesco's or any supermarket.
Sam Nugent
I have the 20" version of those rims and I just used some wet 'n' dry paper to rub it off, try that and it should work mate!Sam
Modified
Yeah, just go ahead and sand it/grind it off.I haven't got one of these rims myself, but I've heard the anodising it quite tough .Modified Edited March 18, 2006 by Modified

king_kennythe1st
if your using a 4 inch grinder then all you need to do is buy a backing pad and some sanding disks, i wud suggest 60 grit. the backing pad and the front screw bit enables you to run sanding pads on small grinders. if you get a backing pad from say dixon halls or some other decent power tool place and some sanding pads, 36 grit being harsh, 60 being smooth, you can sand the anodised coating off without grindin your rim
