TheMunn
Hey all, i'm kinda stuck at the moment with getting good chain tension on my bike. I'm running echo snail cams at the mo but they are really crap, I need something that will hold my wheel in place rather than moving and the alu bending. Would a bmx style tug work, i've thought about it but the drop-outs look really small. Also would steel snail cams make much difference over aluminium ones ? Thankies. CBProductions
I've been using some diamond back tensioners and they havent had a problem yet apart from me bending a bolt by accident. I would reccomend something like that.
Tom Booth
Try the fresh product cams, I have only heard good things about them.

poopipe
your cams are dodgy - just as well it was only me that saw you go arse over tit coming back from the bike shop in cambridge the other week really I got some steel cams a few weeks back and its all been lovely. I haven't had much of a chance to damage them yet but first impressions are good. They're not notched so you can get exactly the right tension too
Hobnobs
Ones without notches suck, well mine did. They just kept moving. Fresh ones look good.

Greetings
i have a gu but i just cut my onza ones in half and they seem to be working fine. ill edit and put a pictur ein for you. do you also need 4 hands to set them up, and do they give any problems? got a similar issue with snail tensioners, and the normal bmx ones are too big to go into my gu

Greetings
do they rub on the weld part of the frame?you mean the bmx tensioners? i use them on the outside because of a disc conversion, however i dont think they'd rub on the weld if used from the inside, nor do snails. the problem is that the dropouts are very short, and you cant move the axle back because the ring going arround the axle gets in contact with the block that wedges against the frame. hope i've made myself understood
Swize
Would this work : Setting up ur bike with the cams so you get good tention and everything and mark where the bolt is with a pen then just file that bit out a little so the cam wont spin round as easy?
