Siders77
I wouldn't say it was ok to be honest. IMO it was harsh as f**k, he didn't even need to say what he did. Someone please lock the topic, he's found out what happened to DJ (RIP) and that's the end of it.
mat hudson
he didnt mean to sound like a f**ktard, everyone calm down . we all have respect for dj, even if we didnt know him, the subject does not need to be defended so violentley. Rich Pearson
he didnt mean to sound like a f**ktard, everyone calm down . we all have respect for dj, even if we didnt know him, the subject does not need to be defended so violentley.Probably the most mature approach I've heard anyone make to on this subject. Dj did die in tragic circumstances yet the last thing I'm sure he'd want was people getting aggro over the subject. It is perfectly reasonable that new members of the forum will ask about DJ as almost everywhere you look there is some small tribute to him weather its in a members signature, people talking about FBM or the DJ rides, etc, so perhaps it is worth asking existing forum members to try and approach questions like this with an ADEQUATE amount of respect and civility but with the right to be informative.Oxford Mail Archive Story - Fitzharry's School says farewell to DavidThat should explain how things went down Jake. Will Arnold
what brought a tear to my eye was watching his R.I.P. pashley video, where he snapped his bike. i think it was made just before he got struck by that car kinda ties in with his death and just makes me sad, even though i didn't even meet him! also talking to him on MSN a few days before he went R.I.P. ogre
"A 16-year-old youth accused of causing death by dangerous driving appeared before magistrates yesterday. Mark W
There are some links somewhere around here (possibly the earlier posts in the Thoughts page too) which have details about what happened to the 2 drivers, and stuff like that. If you search in Chit-Chat you can find out all about the court case. Alternatively, go to the Members list up top, finds DJs mum, and then look through the topics she's made (or DJ's dad, for that matter) and they cover the court case too. Trials Boy
Of what i heard about the lad was everything but good and nice. I wasn't a member and wasnt into trials at the time but i heard loads and loads. I cant imagine how his family felt that day, and i heard that he was the future trials champion. Never spoke to him but R.I.P DJ
PaRtZ
I think that threads like this are great, purely because SO many people remember him still and never forget him. Although when some silly kids start being insensitive, i don't expect anything else than the aggresive response, but still its nice to know hes was much respected by everyone here RIP DJ Edited March 17, 2006 by PaRtZ
