PaRtZ
I don't wanna put a downer on the whole thing, i did vote a few times, but i will be surprised if the park gets built. And what do they mean by chance? 1 in a million?yeah thats what I thought. I suggest turning up and being really excited and suggest ideas and be like children so that if they dont want to build it they should feel really guilty about smashing our hopes and dreams. plainlazy84
Have you seen the Trials Park they have in Port Moody, Canada ? It would make a good example of how a trials park can work, being popular enough, with enough stuff of varying levels to ride. Thats outdoors though but im sure you could still borrow some ideas. Im sure there will be pics/ info on Biketrials.ca

spunkey_monkey_boy
Pictures of indoor trials park could help. Does anyone know anyone who i can contact who has set up the indoor trials courses for different comps/demo's i and the other north wales lads set up, built and organised the indoor events there. fred savage has an invaluable wealth of knowledge but then i would think most people who spend alot of time on the comp scene would, especially those who do uci world events (andrei burton, ben slinger, ben savage, danny butler, rob poyser etc etc etc)if you want a vid of an indoor event speak to the leedstrials boys (mike, kev etc) they have a great vid of the second n.wales indoor event. mat tongue organised the redbull bikebattle and he gave me some usedful tips when i was building. all of the people i ahev mentioned in here are VERY BUSY PEOPLE so dont get annoyed or upset if they dont have the time to help. any questions you have or if you want any hints and tips give me a shout and i'll tell you all i know, as for all the others send them an email and if they reply they have time, if they don't, don't hold it against them, they're probably working or riding... Alan
Finding a venue, Volume 1! It would help to be near-ish a station, Preferably near a tesco/sainburys something like that and have near by parking preferably free, and maybe somewhere with un-even ground so its not much use to anyone else And preferably plumbed in pipes for the kitchen/toilets.Just ideas the buisness people gave me to help me find a venue, all ways in which it will get more people going and easy to get to whilst keeping it cheap Edited March 24, 2006 by T-MAGura
