Felippe
Hi guys, Just wandering, whether to choose 2.35 tyre for both front and rear wheel. Maybe 2.5 for the rear one, but isn't it too heavy??? Cheers Felippe Edited March 15, 2006 by Felippe
anzo
Right. Dont exactly understand what your on about here.2.5s are standard REAR tyres for Mods.2.0s are standard FRONT tyres for Mods. So, yes, use the 2.5 for the rear and it won't be too heavy, and use a 2.0 for the front, I don't know what tyre is 2.35, but either way, go 2.0.Word it a bit better mate and might be able to help more. Felippe
I don't know what tyre is 2.35, but either way, go 2.0.Right, look at CRC: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=4621there u can see 2.35. That's normal size, you can use it instead of 2.0 front, so will be a bit bigger, but also heavier. So 2.50 rear and 2.35 front. Do u think it's a good choice for street? Do u think it's a good choice for street? It's a problem here, the Minion tire is a 26" tire not a 20" and, it's 2-ply, and could be a bit heavy for some people, but it works fine for me, I have a 2.5 Maxxis Minion DH-R rear and a 2.35 Maxxis Minion DH-F in front, and I have NO PROBLEM to ride with those tires! So ENJOY and hope I helped you!
