I don't think Tartybikes (for example) would be too pleased if they had to keep track of about 20 different colour rims and other parts?As much as I would love to have some Orange rims, its not going to happen anytime soon, unless I make my own...but for how long a rim lasts, its hardly worth the effort and cost of me doing it.
