Synergy
ok sorry to post this but im getting soo annoyed at this (im not mentioning his name).i sold a frame to someone on here for 70 quid with bb and headset and chain.sent it fine and he recieved it, i have had nothing but complaints about this breaking and that being wrong BUT..... when i had it there was nothing wrong with it (ask my fellow riders who have rode it).he says the bb is sliding about all over the place and there is no threads but i dont understand how this can be if i rode it 10 times and it has only had one bb put it it since i bought the frame brand new.(proffesionally fitted by a trials shop)he is complaining he wants his money back but i dont think i should because there was no problem when i ad it.?EDIT he recieved it yesterday and is telling me now. he is a member of tf. Hobnobs
Well as neither of you have proof it wasnt screwed before/after or whatever, then its stalemate. If you want to give him money back then go for it, otherwise, there is nothing he can do except leave bad feedback.
David20
I was out riding with synergy the last time he rode the frame and it was completely fine.David.

Hobnobs
Maybe it was a duff bb. Either way, problem solved.
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Sounds like a lad which i sold a wheel to once...He had it for like 3 months, than complained that he had stripped the steads on the hub and he wanted his money back
Jaffacakes
It's me who bought the frame. It came fitted with a BB a headset and a chain as he said.I have spoken to him on msn and I believe he didn't know anything about it. The frame isn't completely raped but at the time I thought it was (bear in mind I only got 20 mins riding out of it). I took it to my mates house and we took the BB out and it was nackered (which i'm not too bothered about since it was a freebie). Some of the threads in the BB shell were pretty scuffed up and there was some metal shavings in there from the shell. The bottom bracket had obviously worked its way loose but as soon as i realized i was loose i stopped riding. I didn't check it before I rode it which I probably should have.We have fitted it with a new BB and it seems to be ok. I haven't ridden it yet so it's still a question weather it will hold.I don't see the need to make a topic out of it though, we have been discussing it on msn for the past hour.EDIT: i took it to my mates after we had spoke on msn by the way. robonatomz
if you pay 70 note's for a frame then id say you cant realy complain if it doesent last very long.rob Edited March 12, 2006 by onzabob
JonPace
if you pay 70 note's for a frame then id say you cant realy complain if it doesent last very long.robNot true. If the seller claims everything is fine then it should be, and hence should last for a long time, regardless of what price it is sold for.
