Best 26" Rim

Recommended Posts

As im using an ALEX DM24 on my echo control at the moment i'm after something wider so i dont have to use pad bodges....just wondering what the best rim is.

Needs to be nice and wide, preferably eyeletted, and nice and strong and can hold a grind well.

Basically, is the onza ronnie still the best for this? Echo rims any good?

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers

noz.

Yeah i'm another vote with the ronnie. its 38mm wide so you shouldn't need a pad bodge and has held up to my sometimes hefty landings which dented the shit out of a planet x bmf (basically the same as an alex dx32) The new echo rims are supposed to be very hard to dent, but yesterday conner told me that they were supposed to go egg shaped quite easily... though i don't know how true this is.

i need a new one now though....... craked down the sidewall - but got it 2nd hand grinded it a few times and used it for 8 months (ish) but need to get it built by someone good again

sun double wide drilled its the strongest rim out there that wide

the only reason a rim will egg the build quality really, with a decent build a 517 would egg, as infact i used a 519 on the rear for 1.5 years and i never dented or buckled it, thats just an example of a good build (Y)
