danny B
the coust team ones are what i use and were made my my dad and michel coustellier (the cousts dad) and they were made in this country and the reason that they were made is because fournales were stopping production of there carbon fork because they were to expensive for average joe to buy at the price of at least 500 quid a set i know because i owned a set, and my forks that are the same as the coust ones!!!!, are actually stronger than the fournales and the designs are owned by my dad and patented... hope that clears some stuff up.ps phil williams everybody ............massive dong..... dave33
thanks for that info danny, but when you say your dad patented them you mean the exact ones you use yea? so am i thinking theres no reason that i cant make my own to my design ? and are the legs hallow or solid ? Simpson
or he means because his dad pantetend them you gonna have to give him $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$to let you produce them???meh may be wrong!
danny B
nah i meant the grade of carbon is expensive that we use and it depends on what the forks look like for the other comment....
Danny
Im pretty sure unless they were virtually identical if he produced forks that were 2 carbon tubes with dropouts on one end and a crown on the other there wouldnt be any issues with patents. dave33
thats what i was thinking, its gonna be impossble for me to make summit the exact same as you have unless i had it there to copy, foks look like forks to be honest
