CurtisRider
out of interest, were you running a seatpost? if not im not surprised it cracked so soon, they seem to need a seatpost as support, my old 1 is still going, and my latest 1 has been fine with me (although i dont think it was run with a post with the previous owner)as for frames, the new frames from heatsink may be worth checking out? cos few people have them currently, so you wont have a common bike

Krisboats
My base will soon be 18 months old and doesn't show a single hint of it dieing any time soon. I do however use a seatpost so it wouldn't have cracked anyway, i'm glad i didn't use one of those gay seats although i know people who do and do much bigger things than it appears you do (based on your pinkbike pictures in you signature) and there's are fine. You must just be a tad on the hefty side when landing things then I will be moving to a 1085 echo control though hopefully very very soon. You might want to try one of them out, maybe in the 1065 version though if you like the base sized bikes.
