fruitbat
Hope Mini without a doubtYeah the Magura ones are good but IMO Hope are the daddy when it comes ti Hydraulic disc brakesFrooty
Ewannnn
I would get a disc brake any day, stronger on the front in the wet and just as good in the dry
zIp-AdE-dOo-DaR
i got a maggie louise and its awsome never stops gripping superb disk brake money well spent, yes hopes are good but they don't lock as good as a maggie and thats what you need when your doing trials.maggie louise fr all the waycheers hope i helped zIp-AdE-dOo-DaR

cvtrial
If I was you, I would asked this: 06 Magura Louise or 05 Hope MONO TRIALS! And I would go for the Hope Mono Trials! enjoy
Thurston
Maggy Lousie anyday of the week, there brill nd i love mine its awsome locks really well nd has a lot of power.Cheers Thurston
Simpson
from my exp. with both brakesMaggie lousie - sheer powerMini - moddulation and good lockso depends on your riding style, i like my brake to just LOCK with little moddulation so id have the louise but then id have to contemplate the avid for price but i just like hydraulic!and the mini for modulation maybe if your going to front wheel or like it to be able to roll out
Sam Ward
I don't own either but have ridden on bikes with both brakes and i would have to say the louise because of its sheer power and the fact that its cheaper.sam
Ashley Smith
hope due to the build quality and material, maguras seem to use cheap cast alu, whereas hope use alu billet which gives a better finish annd overall good looks aswell as good function, the mono trial on the front of my stcok is sweet, nice locking power yet still offers a little modulation.ash
Onzaallen
I would say Hope mate. Thanks Allen.
mtbjosh
dont bother with a hope trials, i dont like them, most of them are too spongy and need too much maintenence, you know that ash(trialnoir) as you mess with it a lot. normal minis(with my mates anyway) perform better than the trials for some reason. most of the people who i ride with and including my self have taken a very good and id say reliable and cheaper option with the Avid BB7 cable disk, they kick ass for less than half of the price of what you are looking at . just have a look and have turns on other peoples bikes if they have disks.
