Hi I want to put an item on Ebay for sale but when I went to the Sell link page it says I need to have a sellers account but when I ask my mate who put an item for sale before he said he didn't have to create a sellers account but I thought I'll create one just in case but when am about to go to page 3 after entering banks details and card it says "Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your information submitted due to a technical issue [ Bank reject from card issuing bank ]." am lost :S So do I need to create one? Or is it that you have to create one now as it was a while ago when my mate was selling stuff on the bay.

Also do i pay the advertising cost straight away or after when I sold it with the final cost fee aswell?

Thanks

i have just set up a selling account myself. Yes you do need one before you can start selling and the error message you are getting looks like it may be a problem with the bank account, not sure hwat

With the selling fees etc i think they send you an invoice each month, im not 100% as i have never sold anything on there myself but i do know you need a sellers acount

Thats what it told me would happen when i set mine up anyway

Hope this helps

Frooty

I didnt have to set up a sellers account becasue I used hotmail as my emial addy and becasue its hotmail Ebay require you to register a debit/credit card to verify the email address. Basically becasue I did it this way Ebay already had my debit card details and thus I had access to a sellers account.

Simply give them your card details to set up a sellers account
