Siders77
How big is the crack? Try 'n' get it welded if it's big. If it's pretty small I'd leave it.
Towler
I personally wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft barge poll. The thought of a bars, stems or forks snapping scares me. Would be same case with headtube.
Andy King
whos got a ten foot barge pole?!!
2sixstreet
What series of aluminium is the frame? Different grades have different properties which can affect weldability. Meaning it may not be able to be easily welded.
Jsy Ben
but still weldable
Ben Geary
Will most likely just Crack again if you get it welded, don't waste your money, put it torwards a new frame witch in't cracked.

MikeCottTrials
I'd leave it well alone, a crack at the head tube is quite nasty and the frame can only go downhill

onzatprodude
my mate had a planet x he cracked it once then got it rewelded then it cracked again so he took it back to the welding shop and got these metal strengthing bars welded on and the frame didnt crack again even though he was trying huge hooks and he wasnt the smoothest rider around so for what it has been put through i think its done really well just like a uncracked framepersonally i think if you were like him, harsh rider trying huge things i would make sure you get a very very good deal on the frame but should be okay if you are just doing medium stuff on it. otherwise i would just save up for a uncracked frame cheers fergie

mission man
what kind of weld should i get done becuase people have been telling me if i get a normal weld it will weaken the frame, i should get a heat treated one instead, the frame is 6061 aluminium. if so how much would it cost around
