Bible Code

Right then, I just thought about this when I was bored so I decided to research it a bit.

For anyone who is interested click here.

Right, basically the bible code is a load of bullshit (in my opinion). It takes extracts (like a wordsearch) from the old testiment of the bible (hebrew version) and translates words to make up a meaning on whatever the hell it wants. For example if it finds '2007, plauge, end of, aids' its means in 2006, there will be a plauge of Aids, and we'll all die, its all worked out on a 'hit or miss' mathmatical system.

Although I don't believe it to be true, It does make for some interesting reading, just reading through some of the predictions we are yet to experience. In 2006 for example, we will experience the coming of the Messiah...but beware! hes a FAKE! There will be asteroids in india which will also reoccur in 2010 and to put some of your minds at rest, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be re-elected for governer of Calafornia.

Theres quite a few 'interesting' (so to speak) predictions on there, so if your curious, have a look, I just find it strange to believe some people actually believe this.

Anyway, I was going to post this in the 'Best of the Internet'...but point one, its hardly the 'best' and point two, I thought you might like to discuss.

It reminds me of when I was about 10, and looking at a wordsearch puzzle and you find 'gay' or 'sex' and thought it was the funniest thing in the world, but these find 'death' and 'end' 'of' 'the' 'world' and find it terrifying.

Ha we still do that (as in my form, we'r yr 10) and still look for words, but our vocabulary increased, so it's more interesting now :shifty:

ROFL.

"I've opened the Armageddon Store selling great books, videos and DVDs related to the end of the world."

Why open a f**king shop if he thinks everyone is going to die next year?

The coming of the messiah is not the end of the world, no-one dies, in fact the dead live again.

Anyway, that site must be out of date, latest I heard from the Rabbis it was the year 6000 by our calendar, this being the year 5767 or thereabouts.

Also these codes are widely accepted throughout judaism as being rubbish, just like the kaballah centre.

Saying that a great kabbalist (the real sort) predicted the coming of the messiah for 3 years time in december, then died. So we'll see.

I'm not really up on religion mate so that didn't mean much lol... sounds interesting though, and this messiah chap better bring us some cheap beer - £2.90 for a stella is criminal.

Depends which sect of Judaism you subscribe to, but if yer a Christian you reckon utopia and all that, I don't know what Islam says on the matter, and Judaism reckons the world keeps on going, but minus the whole war and death and evil bit.

In beer terms, you can drink it in moderation, but no getting hammered, no idea aboot price. (Y)

Smo, we don't care if you give a toss, you didn't need to say that, it has not added to the thread in any way, it is SPAM, get rid of it.
